Şer’iyye Registers are the books where the judgments made by the ladies are saved. These registers are first-rate source in terms of city and regional history. These records are especially important because they contain detailed information about the family structure and the social status of the woman. In addition to the prevalence of polygamy and the number of children in the Ottoman society, which is a widespread opinion today, the role of women is not the right to say in society, forced marriage and the only job is to give birth to children. This is known as the wrong XVIII. In our examinations based on the Kayseri Şer’iyye Registers of the turn of the century coinciding with the beginning of the century, Kayseri, a sanjak connected to the Ottoman Empire, The monogamy is dominant, with the exception of polygamy, can be determined from the receipts in the terraces that are realized when the child is not. The right of women to have a say in society and to have their rights can also be learned from these records.
