Abstract


THE RELATIONSHIP OF AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOR WITH REGARD TO EMOTION AND INTENTION TO QUIT THE JOB: CASE OF THE ENERGY SECTOR

The global competition has made new management insights necessary. Besides, it is important that the employees of the enterprise work emotionally to satisfy the customers and to ensure that they demand the goods and services from the business. Likewise, the fact that employees' acceptance of their work and intention to quit are among the issues to be taken into account to ensure a competitive advantage and to be successful. These three subjects have been determined as the subject of research and the question of how a relationship between them will be answered. The research was conducted in employees of call services affiliated to an energy company operating in Kars. To the expected results, statistically significant and pozitive relationship was found between authentic leadership and emotional labor. On the other hand, a negative relationship was found between authentic leadership and intention to quit.
